A Behind the Scenes Look at the Talent who Created the "Words" Music Video

Introducing a Behind the Scenes look at the talent who created the "Words" music video....
Here is a glance at some of the artists involved in creating the video for Jaclyn Shaw's new release  "Words". The video will be debuted at Jaclyn's Thread of Red CD/Video Release party on March 30th, at Full Cup (388 Van Duzer Street, Staten Island, NY 10301) at 2pm.

Jaclyn Shaw, Singer-Songwriter

Jaclyn Shaw
Jaclyn Shaw is the song-writer of "Words" who vomited out the script for the video after eating Dunkin' Donuts with Natalie Shaya. She plays the protagonist in words, who uncovers the deceitful behavior of her man. When she sees his actions played out before her on screen, Jaclyn flips the switch. Jaclyn played the scorned woman in the video and unleashed all of her pent up anger with trashy men on screen.

Jaclyn says, "We all got to make out with some hottie who had a hole in his pants... it was great."

Annie Breen, DP

Annie Breen
Annie Breen (DP) was the videographer who stepped up to take on this  project. She used her still photography skills to make the video picture- perfect. Her work explores the mediums of photography and video, but she does not define her art by a single genre. She pushes herself to explore and discover new means of creating art within the given mediums. The creative and logical sides of her mind are constantly at war, thus pushing
her to create meaningful art everyday.

Annie Says, "It was a joy collaborating with a great creative team."

Nicole Rada, Director/ Actress

Nicole Rada
Nicole Rada is a racy director in her early twenties who encouraged an industrious atmosphere on set. She is known for her ability to push the envelope when encouraging the actors to express their sensuality on screen. Nicole was featured in the video as an onlooker in the movie-theatre scene.

Nicole says, "I love everyone's energy and artistic flair on set!"

Natalie  Shaya, Writer
Natalie  Shaya
Natalie Shaya co-wrote the script of words with Jaclyn in Dunkin' Donuts. She also sat in on the "movie theatre scene" and watched some partially pornographic scenes on screen. Natalie is a known local advocate for MRDD and has been known to create artistic events to raise money for individuals with MMDR.

Natalie Says, "I'm in it!!!!"

Kevin Kaoyte, Actor

Kevin Kaoyte
Kevin Kayote is a devilishly sexy poet, with incredible charm and a great sense of humor. He enjoys going out to eat, going out for drinks and making waitresses blush with his poetic tongue. When he is not out saving the world one soul at a time, he is looking for a girl to wife up.

Kevin says, "Best part of being on set was frustrating the director by making everyone laugh."

Michele Entenman
Michele Entenman, Actress
Michele Entenman is a bombshell actress who probably had the sexiest scene. Michele really took control on screen and made a little boy of Kevin. You'll see...

Michele says, "I live in Philly. I went to graduate school for film and tv and moved to LA right after to pursue an acting career. I currently am back in Philadelphia where I enjoy modeling, acting and am a photographer. I also volunteer with PAWS with cats and travel abroad with Habitat for Humanity I love to travel and I'm a fun loving free spirit. My favorite part of being on set was just getting back to my acting and film roots. That's where I always felt my happiest."

Lucrecia Gambino, Actress

Lucrecia Gambio                                                                              Lucrecia Gambio is a gorgeous, spiritual singer-songwriter of the New York City Area who was ironically featured as a bimbo in the video. She had her red bra fondled by Kevin, and then she flipped out at the movies. Lucrecia says, "The best thing I loved about being on the set was the camaraderie...."

Flavia Di Bartolo
Flavia Di Bartolo, Wardrobe Director/ Actress
Flavia Di Bartolo is beautiful fashionista/actress, who was able to get everyone's wardrobe in line in a matter of three days. Flavia was also featured in the video as a vivacious lover.

Flavia says, "I had a great time teasing Kevin in my scenes. Nicole's professionalism and directing made the night."

Sunday, March 30th

Thread of Red will be finally released March 30th, 2014. The idea of Thread of Red crosses two concepts together. One meaning is the "path of fate" and the other is "the promise of divine love." I feel bound to both concepts. "Thread of Red" is a compilation of songs I decided to record by myself in the dead of winter. The "soul" reason I recorded this album was to remind myself of the promise I made to myself a long time ago, when I was younger and eager to create something. It was a promise that I would follow my life path. Well, after much experimentation and bouts of doubt I found myself called to the music inside of me. I decided with the utmost conviction that my life path IS music.

The CD will be released the first New Moon of Spring. Not only will I be releasing the 8 song "Classical Soul Folk" (Yeah, I made it up) CD, but I will be touring across the country for the next month. New opportunities have opened up for me when I decided that I was no longer afraid of my calling- my calling to look within and seek the music.

There are a few really special songs on the CD that are close to my heart. Scratch that, all of them are pretty special. "Words" is a song I wrote when I was just waking myself up out of the haze I had been living in. I realized that all of my dreams meant nothing if I didn't make them a reality and start living my purpose. Some people use drugs to escape themselves, but I was using relationships to escape myself for a while. It's okay to utilize escape, because no matter what, your path illuminates. This CD reflects both the eye opening reflections and the tight-eyed disappointments a relationship can represent. I don't regret the past experiences I have had either, because they have helped me to channel such amazing expressions~ expressions that I cannot wait to share.

So, with that said... I am announcing my CD release date to the world. Thread of Red will be released on March 30th 2014. All copies will be sold directly from my website: www.jaclynshaw.com

I will be hosting a CD release party at Full Cup (388 Van Duzer Street) on March 30th as well as an internet release show. It will be a luncheon from 2pm- 4pm. I will be performing at the luncheon, selling hard copies of my CD, and debuting my music video there. This will also be a farewell party for me, as I will be venturing out West and I am unsure if I will be returning.

I wrote, produced, and recorded all songs on this CD.. I even did background harmonies and flamenco guitar work on it...boy, it was fun. Special thanks to Chris Sauter of "Sunshine Studios" for mixing and mastering, Larry Russo and Jaime Filomio for contributing stellar artwork, Annie Breen for her photography, and Chris Ciazza for sponsoring my artistic development.
See you on the 30th :)
